DOUGLAS‘ challenge for beauty and health innovations gives you the chance to either pitch your „Beauty & Health Product Innovation“, your „Beauty & Health Digital Solution“ or your „Sustainability Innovation“ to us and shape the customer experience of the future. Winners get the chance to either include their brand(s) in DOUGLAS‘ assortment or, after going through a review process, to cooperate with DOUGLAS. Among all finalists there will be a special prize in this year’s edition: In collaboration with the branding agency Jung von Matt START, one start-up will get the chance to win a „brand sprint“ package (strategy & design) to work with.

The winner in the category „Beauty & Health Product Innovation“ gets the chance to include their product or brand in DOUGLAS’ assortment in stores or/and on our online platform. In case of a „Beauty & Health Digital Solution“ or a „Sustainability Innovation“ the winner has the chance – after going through a review process – to cooperate with DOUGLAS on our online platform, the app, social media or in stores and related processes – depending on the respective innovation. On November 12, 2021, a jury of highly respected experts selected the winners in the categories “Beauty Technology”, “Beauty Brand” and “Green Retail” during a hybrid event held at DOUGLAS’ headquarters in Düsseldorf.
